Knowledge Portals

In the course of executing projects in Citadon’s distributed, online environment, a substantial amount of useful knowledge accumulates. Citadon provides team members with a single point of access to transactional data, documents, milestones, analytics and more through Web-based knowledge portals. Citadon’s robust Web services architecture makes it easy to create a new knowledge portal or integrate with a company’s existing enterprise portal.

The user interfaces in Citadon CW 7.0 and Velocity include My Citadon portals, which consolidate - in a single, graphical view - relevant information from both within and outside of the Citadon system. Portal layout and components can be tailored to the needs of each organization or project workspace.

The My Citadon portals provide real-time insight into project responsibilities at both the personal and workspace level:

Personal portal - Displays information important to an individual across all workspaces, such as a breakdown of action items currently assigned, current meeting and date obligations scheduled in Outlook calendars, and a listing of saved search queries.

Workspace portal - Displays information relevant to one or more workspaces. Examples include a summary of business process activity, bulletins posted by administrators to all workspace members, a recap of the current schedule or cost status. This portal also displays links to supporting systems or information external to Citadon, such as scheduling or cost information.
