Technology
Citadon protects the confidentiality and security of your personal information by utilizing reasonable, industry-recognized security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or misuse.
Citadon routinely collects biographic data and session activity and stores it in composite files both locally on your device and remotely on systems in the United States. Citadon collects information such as your IP address, browser type and version, and pages you view. When Citadon sends you e-mails, Citadon may record your individual response to allow us to customize our offerings to you. Citadon uses such information on an aggregate and individual basis to maintain and improve the quality of our services.
Third Parties
Citadon will not sell or rent personal information without your consent. Citadon has limited relationships with third parties to assist us in servicing you, for example, by fulfilling customer orders or providing customer service. These service providers are contractually required to maintain the confidentiality of the information Citadon provides.
Content
Citadon personnel will not view, use, or distribute the content of any of your workspaces without your prior permission or the express permission of the project owner, except as stated under "Legal Disclosures."
Your system administrator establishes the policies for access to the workspaces under your service contract. Access to and control over workspace information depends upon the roles assigned to specific members of your project.
Your project information is password protected. Citadon personnel will not require you to divulge your password, even to provide support or assistance. Citadon prohibits sharing of your password with any third party for any reason. Users should always sign out of a session before leaving a browser unattended. Citadon does not provide an automatic time-out for inactive sessions.
You can review the account information you provided and make any desired changes to such information, or to the settings for your account, by logging into your account. When you close your account the account information will be maintained in Citadon's database marked "closed".
Legal Disclosures
Citadon reserves the right to analyze personal information on an individual basis to resolve problems with the service, and to disclose personal information as required by US Federal, state and local law, regulation or court order. Citadon may disclose or report personal information in limited circumstances where Citadon believes in good faith that disclosure is required under the law. Citadon may be required to disclose personal information to cooperate with regulators or law enforcement authorities, to comply with a legal process such as a court order, subpoena, search warrant, or a law enforcement request.
Citadon makes no representations or warranties that the service complies with privacy laws and regulations, if any, that apply to your use of the service, and you agree that Citadon has no responsibility to monitor or ensure that your use of the service satisfies the privacy laws or regulations of your jurisdiction. You hereby indemnify and hold Citadon harmless for any use of the service by you that does not comply with applicable privacy laws, regulations and court orders. For example, Citadon services are not intended to comply with HIPPA requirements and Citadon does not assist with or ensure compliance with HIPAA. You are solely responsible for using Citadon services in a manner consistent with all applicable federal and state privacy laws relating to medical or health information.
Credit Cards
When you subscribe to a Citadon service requiring a fee, you may provide your billing address and your credit card information, including credit card number and expiration date. Credit card information is used solely for the purpose of billing you for the Citadon service. Credit card and purchase order information are not shared with third parties except as required to process payments. Our employees are instructed and required to safeguard your credit card information. Using physical, electronic and procedural safeguards, Citadon limits access to personal information to those employees and agents for business purposes only. We may use internal and external resources to review the adequacy of our security procedures.
