San Francisco - February 16, 2005 - Citadon, the leader in integrated Web-based collaboration, document management and business process management solutions, today announced the availability of Citadon Collaboration Workspace 7.0 - an on-demand collaboration service that now includes personal and workspace portals, more sophisticated searches, and expanded data analysis capabilities. The new release of Citadon Collaboration Workspace™ (CW) gives team leaders, managers, and executives a more comprehensive view of information with which to analyze team effectiveness and optimize project results.
Key Features of Citadon Collaboration Workspace (CW) 7.0 include:
My Citadon Portals - With this release, Citadon introduces two new components in the Citadon CW user interface: the personal portal and the workspace portal. Both are designed to provide insight into workspace activity and personal responsibilities by consolidating relevant information both from within and external to the Citadon system in a single graphical view. The layout and components can be tailored easily to suit the needs of each organization or project workspace.
The personal portal displays information important to an individual across all workspaces such as a breakdown of action items currently assigned, current meeting and date obligations scheduled in Outlook or Lotus Notes calendars, and a listing of saved search queries.
The workspace portal displays information relevant to one or more workspaces. Examples include a summary of business process activity, bulletins posted by administrators to all workspace members, a recap of the current schedule or cost status, and links to supporting systems or information external to Citadon.
Enhanced Search Capabilities - Users can now obtain richer, more actionable data in their search results from additional capabilities to conduct searches across business processes, greater query capabilities across custom folder and document attributes, and the ability to export search results. To handle these more sophisticated searches, search engine performance has been optimized and response times are fifteen to twenty times faster.
Flexible Ad Hoc Reporting - Virtually all information around business processes and documents can now be exported. Customers can develop custom reports using any reporting or business analysis environment that supports Excel or CSV formatted data sources.
New Discussion-Style Collaboration - Discussion threads can be initiated at any step in a business process.
In a related announcement, Citadon also announced today the availability of ProjectNet® Small Team Edition 2.0 which provides smaller project teams with enterprise-class collaboration capabilities. With both releases, Citadon extends its leadership in providing sophisticated, yet user-friendly, collaboration capabilities that are tailored to meet the needs of all organizations -from small project teams to large enterprises.
