JOB DESCRIPTION:
Citadon provides an online software solution for collaboration on the design, construction and operation of large, complex capital projects. Citadon's solution automates and streamlines business processes and communications within and across enterprises, resulting in reduced project risk, shortened project schedules and reduced overall cost.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
With a focus on the highest possible customer satisfaction, responsibilities will include:
- Providing real-time pre and post sale technical support via phone and email; including managing complex technical requests, defect tracking and facilitating call resolution.
- Keeping the customer updated on the status of reported problems, as well as keeping the CRM system updated with current information on the case, recommendation and resolution.
- Working closely with other Citadon teams including Engineering and Operations when escalation of the problem is required.
- Contribute to the technical support knowledge base.
- Help to improve future product releases by prioritizing known product defects and by communicating customer feedback regarding product usability to Product Management.
- Work closely with customer IT teams ensuring proper desktop and network configurations both prior to and after implementation.
- Build and establish relationships of trust and confidence.
- Other duties and projects as assigned by management.
EDUCATION:
- College degree or certification within a computer related field preferred.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years prior technical support experience, dealing with technically complex questions in a well structured and professional fashion preferably in software development company.
- Experience with web and client server applications.
- Strongly developed analytical and trouble shooting skills.
- Demonstrated team player with ability to learn complex technical material.
- Demonstrated high level of self-motivation with a strong desire to solve problems and multi-task with priority.
- Must demonstrate the willingness and capability of multi-tasking; by taking on several duties, tasks, projects and/or responsibilities at one time.
- Demonstrated outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain self control while defusing stressful customer situations.
- Excellent customer service attitude is extremely important.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the latest PC's and Networking technology.
- Basic understanding of HTML and XML.
